Sarah's Maternity Shoot

Meet Sarah and Ben.  They are one of the sweetest couples I have had the pleasure of knowing.  Sarah taught Kindermusik to both my daughters and has a voice sweet as an angel.  Ben plays guitar and so I know that baby Charlotte is going to grow up in a home FILLED with music.  They are expecting their first bundle of joy TODAY!!!  I had the pleasure of shooting maternity photos for them and we had so much fun.

I think you will see from these pictures that Sarah and Ben are loving, caring, beautiful, and most of all FUN!

New Kid On The Block

The development where we live is awesome.  We have the greatest group of neighbors and in the 6 years since we have lived in our home, lots of kids have invaded the street.  We had 2 families with kids move in across from us and then one family had a baby in July of 2008.  Now we're about to add another one!

Steve and Julie a few doors down from me are expecting their first baby.  Her due date is 2.11.11, but she thinks that "Squirt" is going to arrive earlier.  I hope she's right!  They are waiting until delivery to find out what they are having, but I'm thinking boy.  What do you all think??

Julie was also nice enough to let me come over today and be a guinea pig.  I've never taken any maternity photos but have wanted to try my hand at them for a long time now.  She was a willing (and beautiful!) subject and so with camera in hand and a house with awesome light, I tried my best!  These were some of my favorite shots.  Julie is absolutely glowing - she's a gorgeous mama-to-be!
