Rock and Roll

For those of you who don't know, my husband Bob is in a band called The Wise Guys.  It's 5 guys who play all sorts of rock from the 1950's through today with a little bit of classic and country rock thrown in.  They are pretty good and have been playing around the Akron/Cleveland area.  Check them out on Facebook.  I know they'd love it if you were a fan!

Anyway, after some personnel changes in the last few months, they needed some updated pictures with their new bass player.  I went to their gig last night at Bitter's Bones and Barley in Hudson for my first Oktoberfest of the season (yum!) and to try to capture some shots for their Facebook page.

I struggle a lot in low light situations, but luckily this place had low ceilings and plenty of areas to bounce a flash.  Some of the shots I underexposed purposely for "mood".

Introducing the band:

My handsome hubby Bob on the keys (and the accordion??)

He doesn't always look scary like that, I promise.  See???

On drums, Sergio, the dirty Mexican (he showers daily, but his mind is still filthy)

On guitar and lead vocals, Rory, Jim, and Rory's cowboy hat

Brand new on the bass, welcome Don! (and an adoring fan??)

Mmm......beer
