Slacker Mom!!

So I was looking through my 2011 photo folder on my computer and I realized that since January 1, I've only taken like 4 pictures of my children.  That is simply inexcusable.

We had some fun playdates today and so I got out my camera and decided today would be a good day for remembering that I actually have 2 adorable kiddos!

Speaking of adorable kiddos, Genevieve and Simone had their friend Aellyn over today for a playdate and the 3 girls had a ball!  Aellyn is quite photogenic!

Simone really wanted Aellyn to feel at home and welcome when she came over <3

I think it worked.  She was a total ham in no time!

I don't think she was a fan of "snack time" at our house since she had to sit at the table.  Hahahha

 After our playdate was over, it was time for bed and bath.  For a long time now I've been wanting to get a photo of the girls in some matching PJs that their Grandma Kathy gave to them!  However, trying to get a nice picture of a 2 and 4 year old is tough.  If you've never tried it, know this - 4 years olds make silly faces and 2 year olds just don't sit still!

Ok 4 year old smile - CHECK!  2 year old?  Ehh....her slipper is WAY more interesting than Mommy

Ok we're getting there.  She's looking AT the camera (She's so adorable I want to squeeze her)

Aaaaaannnd....we're losing focus again.  Ok, let's try the girls TOGETHER?  (PRAY!)

Ok we're getting closer but we still have 4 year old goofy look!  Come on, just ONE PLEASE?!?

GOTCHA!  Damn I'm good.....or just REALLY patient :)
