My Other "Kid"

When I talk about our cat, most people look at me in disbelief.  We have friends who have known us for years now who have NEVER seen our cat.

She's very choosy about who she allows to know of her existence...

Whenever we have a group of people over, she waits until the very last person leaves and then she comes out immediately.  She knows when the house is empty.  It's like a 6th sense.  She also knows when the kids are awake/asleep.  She *is* getting better with the kids though - she's letting them pet her every now and then without running away.

Anyway....got a new toy this week - the Canon 50mm f1.4 lens.  Playing with some of the wide open apertures with the kitty was fun......

And so here she is - my other "kid" - Callie....age 10 - shyest cat on the planet.  If you have actually seen her in person, consider yourself very special.  If she has let you actually PET her, well...consider yourself a deity in her eyes
